Stomp Rocket
Our last few days have been rainy & stormy, including Easter. Yesterday, however, turned out to be pretty sunny as the day went on. After dinner, we took my parents to see our property. I brought along the Stomp Rocket that Noah got in his Easter gifts and all three kids had a blast playing with it! It definitely needs to be used in an open space! Here's just a few photos of the kids playing with it.
The boys set it up while Avery & my mom went to catch up with Aaron & my dad who were walking to the back edge of the property. Avery & my mom returned to us a few minutes later. Can you spot Avery running towards us?!
This was SUCH a fun game and I know we'll get so much use out of it!

Spring & Summer Gifts
For Easter this year, I decided to keep the same mentality of buying quality over quantity. I thought about things the kids would enjoy playing with this spring & summer especially in our transitional phase out of our house & into my parents' house while we build. I chose some swimming things and lots of outdoor things with an indoor toy sprinkled in there as well.
Noah received some water balloons, a stomp rocket, a pair of comfortable goggles in a blue/gray color scheme, a Jeep police car, and some Skittles & Reeses Pieces.
Happy Easter!
Today we celebrate Easter-- by far the most important holiday in the Christian faith. It is through the power of the resurrection that we have the hope of Heaven.
I hope you have a blessed Easter!
Until Next Time,

Kiddo Update
It's been a while since I shared an update on my kiddos, so here we go!
Michael: 9 Years
Michael is such a joy to be around! He LOVES to offer encouragement to others and gives the best hugs! He is still a fan of video games and likes to try out new games with new scenarios. He's an awesome reader and likes to read historical fiction as well as comic-esque novels. I was struggling recently with figuring out what items I could assemble for an Easter basket for him since he's not a little boy anymore and doesn't necessarily like the trendy items of "big boys" so I had a thought to look up "tween Easter basket ideas" and I found SO MANY great things! Now I'm super excited to give him his Easter basket (which essentially is a "Spring essentials" basket of fun things to do together this Spring and Summer!
Michael is tall-- nearly 5 feet at 9 years old. He wears Adult Small or Youth XL shirts, and size 14/16 pants. His shoe size is now bigger than mine, and I have a feeling that he'll pass me in height within the next year.
He still has the prettiest thick blonde hair and he's getting to the age of wanting to buy body washes that will smell good and stay scented throughout the day. I used to think I'd dread the tween and teenage years, but it's so much fun to think about how he's really developing his own sense of style and preferences. It blew my mind a week ago when we went to his endocrinology appointment and he was able to handle some of the medical preparations entirely by himself! He's really shaping up to be a great person and I'm so proud of him. I love you so much, Michael-buddy!

Hello, April!
Today started a new month, but it ended up starting off a lot like how last month began: Avery got sick. Last night, therefore, was a bit rough and today has been spent making sure she's better. I'm really glad it's Spring Break! Hopefully this isn't going to be a total replay of last month.
The kids and I have tried to do something fun each day while we've been on break. Michael had an endocrinology appointment on Monday, so we took a trip inside the hospital gift shop as is our usual custom. On Tuesday we worked at the house in the morning, then went to a local library in the afternoon. On Wednesday, we went to Target in the morning, then into Krispy Kreme for morning snack. That afternoon we worked at the house a bit more. On Thursday morning we returned to the library to pick up a book on reserve for Michael, then that afternoon I had to turn in our perc test results for our property. The kids came with me and we went to a local downtown candy shop after we were done & we walked around and looked at the downtown fountain to enjoy the candy. Today we've stayed home & watched shows & movies and rested. Aaron came home from work early & took the boys on an adventure while I stayed back with Avery to let her rest some more.
Tomorrow we have another fun event planned which will round out our spring break fun. We'll also finish some house things which I'll be so grateful for. School starts back on Monday, but at least we're in the home stretch!
Until Next Time,
Much Love, Reba
