Garden Pics

I have two flower gardens, two flower beds, and three hanging baskets at my house right now. Not everything blooms at the same time but I like taking photos of the different blooms that show up at various times. Here's some snippets of what has grown.

Quick MD Trip!

At the end of May, Aaron & I took the kids to visit my grandmother in Maryland. Aaron & I didn't have a lot of time off of work so we left on a Wednesday night, made it halfway (slept in the vehicle), arrived Thursday midday, went to Gettysburg PA on Friday, stayed in a hotel, went to Lancaster PA on Saturday then returned to Grandma's house, then left for home at 3:45 Sunday morning and arrived home around 4:00pm Sunday  afternoon! Whew! It was a whirlwind but it was SO worth it and SO important!

They built a cool playground in my Grandma's town so we took the kids there a few times!

She lives near train tracks so she took us all to see the trains, which Noah thought was EXCELLENT!

I'm Gettysburg, we stopped at the military museum, and had to get a picture with Abe!

A picnic lunch was fun!

We did an auto audio tour through the app & we got out at this location so we could see the memorial using slate from Maine & limestone from Alabama!

We also stopped by the cemetery....

...and saw where Lincoln gave his Gettysburg address.

In Lancaster the next day, we stopped by Shady Maple Farm Market & the kids got donuts that were SO fresh! Fortunately, I got to finish Avery's since she became too full. It was so good!

Grandma & Aaron stopped to let everyone play putt-putt!

After lunch, we went to one of my favorite places- the Amish Village!

We loved Molly the Mule & all the other animals too!

On the way back to Maryland, Grandma encouraged us to maintain tradition and stop for ice cream in Strasburg!

By Sunday afternoon, we were wiped out!

Everyone had a good time though & we made great memories!

Until Next Time,
