Lately we have stayed pretty busy & are enjoying any downtime we get at home. Today is one of those days where I've run around in the morning but could settle down this afternoon and rest!
I'm sharing some very random photo updates with you. Here goes!
I love slow Sunday lunches.
We had a few surprise days of virtual school in January & I truly enjoyed my days with my kiddos at home with me.
We love weekend trips to the library!
Akuna is the favorite in the family.
I thought it was so cute to find her dolly sleeping the same way she was!
We had some fun cousin time recently!
Avery got to dress up & attend ballet pictures which she loved. (She wore the unicorn bathrobe to keep warm from the car to the studio.)
I saw the following Bandaid hack for fingers on pinterest....
(Spoiler alert: it didn't last any longer than traditionally wrapping a bandaid.)
We were inspired by momfessionals for Noah & Averys Valentine's this year. Both Michael & Noah had class parties on Friday and Avery will have her ballet party this upcoming week.
Noah chose Andrea's "you're all that & a bag of chips" Valentine's printable and I just reduced the size so it could be taped to the front of a chip bag. So cute! And so perfect for Noah because he LOVES chips!
Michael designed his own Valentine's that say "be mine (craft)" and Aaron helped him make them into a reality on the computer by designing a treasure chest in minecraft style. We printed these, then I cut them out at the treasure chest lock. I taped the bottom half to a Cellophane bag, stuck a minecraft pencil inside the bag, folded the top over and stapled it, then I taped the top of the treasure chest onto the fold so you couldn’t see the staple. I thought Michael was SO creative for coming up with these!
For Avery, we found inspiration again at momfessionals and I just reduced the sign again to fit several images onto one sheet of paper in order to cut smaller cards for the Cellophane bags.
We ordered these squishy light up rings which came in various colors. Under the "gem" looking part is a little button which makes them light up! They're individually wrapped too which is nice in the covid world.
Since the boys had their school parties already & because I accidentally bought more candy that I thought, Aaron & I decided to go ahead & give the kids the Valentine's gifts we bought them along with some of the candy, and then they'll receive a little more candy Monday morning on actual Valentine's Day. This year we were tired of buying junk & we've been working so hard to declutter so we chose to purchase shoes for each kid. Appropriately for the holiday, each pair has some red on it. All three kids were surprised & thankful.
That was a random update but a fun one!
Until Next Time,
Much Love, Reba
