On Mother's Day weekend, Avery had her dance recital! She was in several numbers this year-- a ballet piece, a gymnastics piece, a jazz piece, a solo, a tap production piece, and a finale piece. Her costumes were so cute and she had such a good time!
She LOVES to dance & we just can't help but LOVE to watch her!

In early May, I was able to attend Noah's field trip to the aquarium, Imax theater, and waterfall cave. We left the school bright & early so we could travel to a nearby state for all these activities. Noah was pumped to be on a charter bus!
We had a great time at the theater. They showed us a documentary about wolves which I thought was so cool. Then we made our way to the aquarium where we toured the river section before lunch & the ocean section after lunch.
It was a fun time! Afterwards, we drove to Ruby Falls and had a great time walking on the cave trail underground until we made it to the waterfall. It was a well lit trail & our tour guide was phenomenal.
We stopped for dinner on the way home and Noah got to try an Arby's sandwich for the first time. It took us a bit longer to get home (not surprising on field trips of any kind) so we arrived back home around 9pm and we were tired! But it was a good kind of tired & i loved the memories I got to make with this sweet boy!
