Summertime So Far

We're nearly halfway through June, which means my kiddos have been on summer break for at least 3 weeks now! 

We've had a busy stretch of time from the end of April to the first part of  June. Here's a photo collection to showcase some of our journey!

Noah got upgraded to a brace! He has since been released to go "brace free" except for the first 2 weeks while riding his dirtbike--he has to wear the brace during that time only. 

To celebrate the end of 5th grade, his school threw a Glow Party!

Our gigantic dog still thinks she's a tiny puppy. 

I tried out a new cake decoration for Memorial Day!

We went to Dairy Queen for a special treat! All the kids got blizzards. Aaron & I chose the real MVP-- a Heath Bar Caramel Brownie  Cupfection.   Trust.

Dance Competition

Over my birthday weekend in April, Avery had a dance competition in Florida! She did two dances this year-- a gymnastics number with 3 other girls and her duet (which was actually a solo for this competition because her duet partner was injured). Her gymnastics group scored a Platinum and an overall Top First and Avery scored a Platinum for her solo and received The Sunshine Award from the judges. It was a fun weekend with our little family and I loved being around them for my special day and this special dance event! 

The hotel had a real mermaid and Avery came prepared!

One night at dinner, I ordered a nachos appetizer for my meal and I didn't realize that it was meant to be split among like 3 adults! Needless to say, it offered our table a lot of laughs and I had lots of tasty leftovers.... for days!

I'll update more things soon... I promise. I can't believe I missed blogging for the whole month of April. Oh well.
