Welcome!

Welcome to a piece of our sweet journey of life. This blog is about our family life-- my husband, my type 1 diabetic seventh grader, my spunky fifth grader, my second grader little girl, and myself! Enjoy!

A March Update

My life is all in a tangle right now with work and what I need to do/ should do/ can do to ease the stress. This has been ongoing for weeks & weeks and I've let the blog slide unfortunately. I'm going to just do another photo round up here to show signs of life & adventure in March. Hopefully I'll be back to a more regular blogging schedule soon.

Until then, here are some March updates.

To kick off the month, Avery had a dance competition!

Grandma Chips made her a jean jacket for Spring!

And she lost a tooth!

Noah has LOVED riding his dirt bike and has really gotten into a good groove.

He brought home a circuit experiment kit & showed us how it all worked. He tested various items (straw, dime, screw, lego) and had to identify if the item was a conductor or insulator. It was so fun to watch him explain things & test the items!

Noah & Aaron went to a dirtbike race one weekend, and Michael and Avery spent the day with Grandma Chips before coming home to me. She took them to one of their favorite parks!

Puppies love sunny naps!

One Sunday morning brought blankets of fog and rain.

I was so surprised to see a tulip in the flower bed!

We took the kids to the Supercross race in Birmingham to kick off their Spring Break! This was such a fun day!

Aaron & I took two days off to go do fun things with the kids during their first part of the week off. One of those days we took them ice skating. (Michael was there & very bravely went around the rink but I didn't get a picture).
Aaron rented a skater helper for the kids which eased their nervousness--this was their first time ice skating! In the end, they loved it. We went to a Chinese buffet for lunch at Michael's recommendation and it didn't disappoint!

That evening, Aaron made turkey calls in the front yard to the dogs' confusion. :)

The next day, we took the kids to a local memorial park and walked around the trails.

Later that day, we met up with Aaron's dad at the bowling alley!

The next few days, the kids spent time with my parents and my nephews (who were spending the week with my parents). On Friday, I took a half day off and joined my mom to take the kids to a nearby nature center. We walked on a trail and then looked inside at some displays.

Then we went to a local ice cream stop and enjoyed some time outside!

It was a good (and busy!) month when I stop and remember all the good things that have happened outside of work. And honestly, those are the things that matter the most.

Until Next Time,

Much Love, Reba
